Sale and Pelletier Inducted into the Skating Hall of Fame
At Canadians last week I was lucky to be in the audience when Skate Canada honoured Jamie Sale and David Pelletier by inducting them into the Figure Skating Hall of Fame.
The crowd was in tears watching the emotional Sale and Pelletier re-live their magnificent but controversial career on the big screen.
They are spectacular role models in a sport with a reputation for divaesque behaviour and questionable integrity.
The induction ceremony wasn't the only treat for the audience, they also performed in the gala, which was a highlight for both spectators and national competitors.

I was there too! Canadians was truly the greatest weekend I’ve had (we only went to the events Sat & Sun) in a VERY long time! I’m a huge figure skating fan and am very much looking forward to all the skating that is coming our way leading up to and including 2010!
