Kudos to Skate Canada
I’ll admit that I haven’t always been Skate Canada’s biggest fan. Back in the day when it was called the Canadian Figure Skating Association and I was a member skater, the organization often seemed disorganized and ineffective.
While it continues to make some odd personnel and administrative decisions, I have to commend Skate Canada on a well run event in Vancouver last week.
Canadians were well organized, there were lots of star skaters in attendance and the genuine buzz in the building was electric.
Thanks for making my long flight back to Vancouver from Morocco so worthwhile. Speaking of which… while I’m not one for dancing wildly for the video camera, my 9000 km trek to Canadians definitely qualifies me the ‘Ultimate Fan.’
