A Well Deserved Reward
Last week Skate Canada announced that Shae-Lynn Bourne and Viktor Kraatz will be inducted into the Skate Canada Hall of Fame. After a decade of remarkable success the reward is well deserved.
I’ve never been much of an ice dance fan, but I do remember the first time I saw Bourne and Kraatz on TV. I believe it was their winning free program in Juniors at Canadians in 1992. They skated a gypsy-themed free dance and I remember thinking… these two are going to win Worlds one day. And for once, I was right!
