What Not to Wear for Skaters
I thought the women were very well costumed at Canadians and US Nationals. Not so for the men. The women seem to have figured out that a costume is purely an add-on to their program, not the main event. I found the men’s costumes so distracting and over the top that they took away from the overall performances. I say forget the heavily sequined leotards with strands of chiffon attached to the shoulders and just focus on the quad.
Update: I see I’m not the only one with this opinion.
